It is with great pleasure that we announce, 4 years to the day, after the formation of Pro Act. Building Consultants, the creation of our MISSION STATEMENT –

                       “ABOVE  AND  BEYOND”

It commences today – 7th December, 2005.  Now after 13 years, including our Pro Act. re-birth, we have matured sufficiently to be clear on our business attitude and the drivers of our continuing business success now and into the future.

“Above and Beyond” is our Mission:

For our clients:    we go above and beyond what is normally expected of a

                             report, permit, or inspection, and ensuring that everyone feels

                             welcome, and at ease upon entering our shop.

To potential clients:     we boast that we perform above and beyond the duties

                                        imposed by the Building Commission, who licenses us.

For the owners:    who are assisted by our clients, we go above and beyond

                              in explaining, reassuring, protecting and exercising our

                              duty of care.

Our staff:        give service and friendship above and beyond normal

                       client minimums, including our availability after 5pm.

We bring:        skills over and beyond other Building Surveyors – 40

                       years experience, town planning, knowledge of health

                       surveying, historic building legislation.

SO WELCOME TO OUR NEW ERA

For us, our Mission Statement calls for greater commitment, firstly to our clients, then secondly to the success of our business (to remain available).  Like the grocery chain whose new motto is “What can we do for you?”, we are here for you, our clients.

WHAT ARE THE VISIBLE CHANGES RESULTING FROM HAVING A MISSION STATEMENT?

* It will be professionally sign written on our front door or window (a typed sign will be instigated until the sign writer comes)

* It will become part of the footer on our correspondence (after our Christmas message ceases).

* It will be announced and be a factor in both Pro Act. News and E. News.

* Last, but not least, OUR RENEWED VIBRANCY in the continued growth of Pro Act.
